A leader’s job is to inspire greatness and make sure that their followers have everything they need. They don’t need to do everything on their own. Instead, they should trust their workers to do their jobs properly.

 

They also need to recognize the contributions of their subordinates. A little bit of praise and recognition goes a long way when it comes to motivating people. In contrast, a leader who takes all the credit without recognizing the rest of the team undermines morale and encourages people to slack off. It is vital to remember that leaders succeed or fail on the merits of their team and not simply their own actions.
